Strike Anywhere have let loose more of their upcoming plans. After their tour up and down the East Coast with A Global Threat and With Honor and three shows in LA with Rise Against, the band will be heading to New Jersey to perform at the 2006 Bamboozle Fest. The band will be performing on May 7th, sharing the stage with, as the band puts it, "Lifetime […] as well as a bunch of bands that I've never heard of that seem to be really popular."

In April the band will be taking up residency in Salad Days studio in Baltimore, MD to record their Fat Wreck Chords debut with producer Brian McTernan (The Loved Ones, Thrice, With Honor). The album is planned for release in September of this year. The band had this to say about the recording process:

We've been writing for this thing for the past couple years so it's gonna be exciting to get these songs recorded and in their final incarnation. I know we've kept you guys waiting on this record for quite some time now… but the light is finally appearing at the end…

The band released a compilation of their early work, To Live In Discontent, last year and their previous full length Exit English in 2003.
