Vancouver Pop Punk "eggcons," The McRackins, have signed to Italian label, Wynon Records. The band recently wrapped up their fifth album - and 12th year together - by recording what the label calls as "powerpop punk masterpiece."

The band spent fourteen months working on the twelve songs that make up Bat Out of Shell. The album will be mastered by John Golden (Green Day, Primus, Chris Isaak, Sonic Youth) and will be released in North America, Europe and Japan later this year. A Full European tour will follow in early 2007.

The McRackins join a roster which includes Vanilla Sky, Holiday with Maggie and Forty Winks.
