Unearth is set to enter the studio on March 8th to begiin recording their sophomore release for Metal Blade . The album will followThe Oncoming Storm. The band will be recording with producer Terry Date (Soundgarden, White Zombie, Pantera, Deftones, at Studio X (Alice in Chains, Nirvana, Pearl Jam) in Seattle. Terry Date will mix the record as well.

An enthusiastic Trevor Phipps said this about their choice of producer:

If anyone were to tell me (when I was a kid) that my band was going to be doing a record with the guy that produced most of the Pantera, Deftones and Soundgarden records one day; I would have told them they were crazy.

Unearth will forever sound like Unearth and we know Terry has an knack for bringing out the best qualities and sounds in the bands he works with and we could not be more stoked to work with him. There is no question that this next record will be our best to date.

Last year, the group also saw the reissue of some of their early EPs and live material in the form of Our Days of Eulogy released via the band's first home at Eulogy Recordings. That record included the Endless and Above The Fall Of Man EPs. The band also released their debut full length The Stings of Concience via the label.
