Jade Tree has signed two new bands. The first is Seattle, Washington's Panda & Angel. A new collaboration between Carrie Murphy (Touchdown Eagle) and Josh Wackerly (S). The duo began writing songs in the fall of 2004, and were soon joined by Laura Enderle (bass), Kara Kikuchi (keyboards), and Zaun Zehner (drums).

The second signing is Atlanta, GA's Snowden. The band takes their name from the book Catch 22 by Joseph Heller and well described as a cross between the rhythmic grit of The Yeah Yeah Yeah's and the melodic layers of The Cure.
