With their band on an indefinite hiatus, Recover members Dan Keyes and Robert Mann have formed Young Love. The band changed their name from the more lawsuit-baiting American Express and had this to say:

Although it is in a different direction of Recover it is still from the same creative force(s). The songs will hopefully be released by Summer this year, not positive though. We are very proud of the direction the music is taking and think some of you out there will enjoy it as well.

Recover released This May Be the Year I Disappear in 2004 via Strummer/Universal.
