He Is Legend have announced plans to enter the studio in April to begin work on their sophomore full length for Solid State.

Vocalist Schuylar Croom described the new material:

The next album is a little smarter, a little dirtier, and a little more intense. We've learned a lot since we recorded `I Am Hollywood.' It was our first time in a major studio and we didn't really know how to make an album, just write songs. We are going back to our Southern Rock roots now. It's the music that we were raised on.

The album will be the band's first since 2004's I Am Hollywood and they will follow the studio sessions with a spot on the Black Unicorn Tour set to kick off in late May.
