Jason Camacho, guitarist of Audio Karate has officially launched his new studio, named Lady Melody after the band's previous release.

Jay had this to say:

Having worked with excellent producers and engineers in the past, Bill Stevenson/Jason Livermore (Descendents,Black Flag, Rise Against, NOFX) and Trever Keith/Chad Blinman (Face to Face, Get up Kids, Moneen), I learned a lot and developed a pretty clear picture of what I'd want in a studio.

In related news, the band has apparently regrouped to work on a new full length. They went on hiatus in December 2004 but are apparently finishing up their follow up to Lady Melody with more information expected soon.

The band also posted a cryptic message on their myspace which said:

While another 50,000 no talent, no taste, bitch made ass people will claim to write and create music today, to "start a band" and be rockers, it is incredible to know that you are actually good at what you do.
