The BBC is reporting that former Sham 69 singer Jimmy Pursey will be recording a themesong for this year's World Cup festivities. The song "Hurry Up England," a reworking of "Hurry Up Harry" from their album That's Life, is being produced as an alternative to Embrace's "World At Your Feet" by Virgin Radio. The single will come with a B-side recorded by the Dorchester Raiders, an under-eight soccer team.

The proceeds from the sale of the single will go to the Teenage Cancer Trust.
