Vocalist/guitarist Dan Sena had this to say:

We have about 15 songs that we're taking into the studio with us, 11 of those will make it on the new album. We're going to try and think of something fun and exciting to do with the leftovers.

The band will be working with producer Alex Newport, (At The Drive In, The Mars Volta, Ikara Colt) and promise some new influences on the record including The Afgan Whigs, Swervedriver, and Jesus Lizard, to Les Savy Fav and Ink and Dagger.
