The Hanson Brothers, hockey-obsessed side-project of long running Canadian punk act NoMeansNo, are on the road right now in Western Canada. The band kicked things off this past Thursday with a pair of BC shows and they'll be on the road for the remainder of the month.
The Hanson Brothers most recently released My Game in 2002 via Mint in Canada and Southern Records in Europe and the US. They followed it up with a European EP titled Brad the following year. In 2004 both the Brothers and their alter-egos in NoMeansNo released the DVD set Would we be… Live?.
