Long-running independent music store chain Amoeba Music has finally agreed to carry independent 'zines. The store, a staple of independent music through California, responded to a petition organized by the editors of The Big Takeover, Dumb Angel Gazette, Roctober, Scram and Ugly Things.

Only the Los Angeles store is currently confirmed for the plan, but the organizers hope to see it in the entire chain. The stores were described by Rolling Stone magazine as the World's Greatest in 1988

Publishers interested in getting their 'zine into the store can contact the editors of Scram Magazine at this address.
