Three quarters of Jade Tree hardcore act Breather Resist have resurfaced as Young Widows.

The band changes the name after the departure of vocalist Steven Sindoni last December. Evan Patterson and Nick Thieneman are handling vocal duties for the band.

The band has also decided to refrain from performing their older material saying:

Most of the lyrics are written from [Steve's] perspective and it would insulting to ever attempt to play those songs without him.

The band has begun work on the follow up to 2004's Charmer and has posted two tracks which you can find on their myspace page.
