The Explosion has announced plans to enter the studio on May 8th to begin work on the follow up to 2004's Black Tape.

The band will be recording with producer Tim O'Heir (Samiam, All-American Rejects, Dinosaur Jr., Say Anything) in Brooklyn, New York.
