According to Billboard, thrash metal pioneers Slayer will be releasing a new EP in anticipation of the release of their upcoming full length due out July 25th, 2006.

The disc, which will be exclusive to Hot Topic stores, will include "Cult," a song from the upcoming album which is to be the sole new track played on Slayer's hour-long sets each night of the Unholy Alliance tour this summer. The EP is also set to include a live version of "Dead Skin Mask."

The two-decade running metal act - who has influenced countless metal, hardcore and other bands - have begun mixing their upcoming full length. The as yet untitled new album is due out this fall, is the first new studio album since 1990's "Seasons In The Abyss" that features the entire original Slayer lineup (drummer Lombardo left the band in 1992 and rejoined in 2003).
