The bassist-songwriter Bomber Manzuello recently told they are done with writing a new album and he hopes to release the new record as soon as possible. The new record will also feature a new line-up. Barry and Dave are out but Chris Flippin (Lagwagon) and Derrick Plourde (Sweet Action, Bad Astronaut, No More Lies, Ex-Lagwagon) were hired to fill their shoes. Even though the band is ready to put out the record there hasn't been any talk with the labels. The band also recently played a couple of shows with NOFX but now it seems like the reunion is actually happening!
When RKL was on hiatus Bomber released one album under the name of The Other on Honest Don's with the band mate Chris Rest. The album itself sounded like RKL with less metal influence on it. Since then he has been working for Microsoft as a computer engineer but I guess no one can stay away from the punk business too long!
