Jade Tree hardcore act Young Widows has announced some details about their upcoming debut for the label. The band includes three quarters of Breather Resist and was formed after the departure of vocalist Steven Sindoni last December. Evan Patterson and Nick Thieneman are handling vocal duties for the band. Breather Resist released Charmer and a split EP with Suicide Note in 2004.

The label had this to say about the sound of the debut:

The signature inventive guitar work of vocalist/guitarist Evan Patterson (Black Cross, The National Acrobat) is at its peak here, while the rhythm section of Nick Thieneman (also of Black Cross) and Geoff Paton lays down syrup-thick grooves, recalling Pacific Northwest heavyweights (think Melvins, Karp, even Nirvana), and British post-punk, ala Gang Of Four.

The band will be releasing Settle Down City on September 12th, 2006 and you can check out a track from the album here: "The Charmers."
