Japanese pop duo Puffy AmiYumi have announced a summer US tour in support of their upcoming full length, Splurge. The record will be released on Tofu Records, which is also the home of Polysics. Due out July 25th, 2006, the album will feature their new single "Tokyo, I'm On My Way" which was written by Offspring frontman Dexter Holland. Other contributers to the album include Jon Spencer, Butch Walker and Andy Sturmer of Jellyfish.

The band visited the States last year for a short tour with the Aquabats, who are signed to Holland's Nitro Records. You can check out some music on their myspace page.
