Pop-punk stalwarts The Queers have booked some dates this September. The long-running band recently began work on their next full length. For the next album, the pop-punk act is planning to enlist the help of Lisa Marr, JJ Rassler and Ben Weasel who will also contribute in some way to the record which will be recorded in Chicago.

Besides that, the band has joined numerous defectors from the troubled Lookout Records camp with plans to re-release much of their older material via Asian Man Records. That label was responsible for a full slate of Screeching Weasel releases throughout 2005 and will be releasing Love Songs for the Retarded on July 11th, 2006.
