Relapse Records have announced the signing of Chicago / Peoria, IL quartet Minsk. The band had this to say about the signing:

The label's current and historical rosters are seriously second to none, not to mention that they've been signing some incredible bands lately like UNEARTHLY TRANCE and RWAKE. The fact that they're still putting out challenging and progressive heavy music makes it a perfect place for us to be.

Minsk released Out of a Center Which is Neither Dead Nor Alive last year and have scheduled their Relapse debut for an early 2007 release.
