The Hold Steady announce album title, track listing, release date

More info on the Hold Steady's follow up to the acclaimed Separation Sunday has been announced through Pitchfork. The band's debut for Vagrant Records will be titled Boys and Girls in America and will hit stores on October 3rd. The record was produced by John Agnello (Sonic Youth, Dinosaur Jr., Jawbox, Patti Smith) and recorded at Water Music in Hoboken, NJ.

This summer the Hold Steady will hit the road for a number of shows on the US east coast and midwest as well as a short excursion into Canada.
