Virgin Records have signed Daughters of Mara. According to the label, "the conceptual essence of the band is derived from the Buddhist personification of evil (Mara) and the story of her three daughters who represent desire, lust and aversion." The band plans on heading into the studio in October to work on an album to be released early next year.

A few demos from the band are available on their MySpace. All of the demos were written, recorded, produced and performed by the band's frontman Shawn Zuzek without vocal fixes or computers used in the process.
