Sub Pop recently announced the signing of Loney, Dear, the project from Swedish muscian Emil Svanängen. Throughout the last two to three years, Emil has recorded and released four albums on CD-Rs and will be releasing the album Loney, Noir February 6th through Sub Pop in North America and Australia, and New Zealand. The album was originally released last year.

Loney, Dear has been described as "soulful indie folk with a powerful mini orchestra."
