Another band has parted ways with a major label after repeated release delays; Atlanta, GA-based City Sleeps recently split with major label Maverick Records after repeated delays of their full length, Hotel. The record was produced by Maverick A&R superstar and Goldfinger leader John Feldman.

The band had this to say:

Finally we have an update for you. It may sound like a setback or delay, and as frustrating as it may seem, we assure you that this is a step in the right direction for City Sleeps.

Recently Maverick Records shut down and was absorbed into Warner Bros. So WB and City Sleeps have parted ways and we're in the process of finding a new home for CS. This has been a long and slow process that has kept our album out of the stores and out of your hands for a year now. We know you are all tired of waiting. And trust us when we say that its 100 times harder for us.
