Be Your Own Pet has announced the departure of drummer Jamin Orral. Jamin issued this statement about the departure:

Jamin Orrall has left the band Be Your Own Pet in order to focus on his family owned label, Infinity Cat as well as looking at colleges for the near future. However he is still staying musically active with the band he formed with his brother Jake, 'Jeff.

The news comes just as the band gears up for their headlining tour with the Black Lips. The band in supporting their full length, Be Your Own Pet released on Thurston Moore of Sonic Youth's Ecstatic Peace Records.
