In light of yesterday's catastrophic events, Atom and his Package and Scared of Chaka have cancelled their short NY/Boston/Canada tour with the Weakerthans. The Weakerthans themselves have not announced any cancellation, but one can only assume they aren't playing, either. And in case anyone had any doubt, CMJ has been cancelled, too.
UPDATE: The Weakerthans have now announced that they have also cancelled their string of shows, and will plan on rescheduling them sometime later this fall.

And again on a personal note, I'm amazed at how this site has banded together in just a brief time span. I questioned myself when I first posted the news about the attacks yesterday, wondering how you people would respond. It's incredible to see everyone carrying on [mostly] intelligent discussion in the comments sections, and everyone seems more than willing to pitch in in any way possible. You guys are making me proud.
