I'm making an attempt to clear everything up, right here, right now so I'm going to paraphrase some of the sentences in the email I received from Bryan. Basically, the guys are still trying to work out things with Shal. They have all gone through some really serious mental shit in they're own ways throughout the years, but have helped each other out of it like a family. Shal does not want to be out of the band, but Bryan states that they need to do some fixin' if they're gonna move forward together creatively. The three of them (Greg Pete & Bryan) are united and focused to move forward. Bryan has taken the fans into consideration in stating for the record the following: "the Souls are going through a rip-yourself-open soul-searching quest which may bring along Shal and if not, then someone else. But we're pulling up the stakes and moving on spiritually. Your with the movement or you ain't."
