A number of performers including Outernational will be participating in today's Day of Mass Resistance. Organizers are encouraging people concerned with the Bush administration to walk out of school, take off work, and come to the downtowns and townsquares.

Outernational adds:

The event has been building for months, but is made all more significant by the actions of the US Congress last week - puching through a reinterpretation of the Geneva Conventions to legaliize torture and provision which retroactively pardons Bush and his staff from wrongdoing.
