Indie digital distributor Downloadpunk.com has launched a new service for unsigned artists. The service, dubbed UploadPunk allows bands, labels and aggregators to upload and track their own content. Users are able to log-in to the backend of DownloadPunk to upload their music, videos, tour dates, news, bio and photos. In addition, users are able to see current real time sales and referral links and make content changes.

The system provides a digital companion to Interpunk's Direct and Local programs, or Smartpunk's direct sales program.
