Protest the Hero recently saw their guitarist, Luke Hoskin, forbidden from crossing the border into the United States as the band continued their tour with Avenged Sevenfold. The band's vocalist Rody Walker expressed his frustration with the problem:
So last night after the Vancouver show (which was great by the way) we attempted to cross back into the states and we were exTREMELY unsuccessful. We sat in customs from about 1 until about 6:30 only to be turned away for reasons of homeland security. As you all know we're a big fucking threat to that.A few months ago one of our members was caught with point two grams of marijuanna, and they have decided to start reprimanding us for it now, though they've let him in the country several times without hassle since then. go figure.
Regardless we've got 50 cent's lawyer on the case, and if he can get that coke snortin, thug, pimp in and out of the country I'm sure in due time he will have our nefarious asses back in the states.
So as a wise man once said we're "balls deep in an infected pussy" … but worry not we are as christina… a fighter. With that said we're going to end the tour without him, which should be interesting to say the least, as he plays a pretty vital role. So those of you coming to the remaining shows be expecting a down-hearted, some-what empty protest the hero.
