Rancid have announced that Brett Reed has left the band and is being replaced by Brandon Steineckert who left the Used this past September:

Brett Reed has decided to leave Rancid and we wish him all the best in his journeys. Thanx Brett for the last 15 years. Brandon Steineckert, formally of the band The Used has stepped in to the drumming position and we want to welcome Brandon into the Rancid family.
