Dan at Left of the Dial Records is organizing a record swap for 924 Gilman's 20th anniversary weekend, as well as there being a couple shows. The record swap is on December 31st and starts at 10am then lasts till 2pm. If you want a table, they're $20 (USD) and you can email gilmanrecordswap@gmail.com. Admission for non-tablers is free.

Other festivities include two shows on Friday and Saturday the 29th and 30th. Bands playing include Born/Dead, This Is My Fist, Social Unrest, Schlong, and Look Back and Laugh.

For those interested, you'll be able to find Justin in and around Gilman that weekend taking part. Stop by and say "hey."

Update: Our buddy Jesse Townley updated us with the following info as well:

There's also a roundtable talk on Thursday 12/28 7pm-9pm. It's about Gilman's place in the local art scene, past, present, future, what it is, and, um, whatever the audience wants to talk about.
Panelists include Kamala (who discovered the current site of Gilman in 1986), Zarah (ex-coordinator 1995-2000), Ben (ex head of security 2000s), Pat Wright (handyman/gadfly throughout), and me [Jesse Townley] (secretary 1991-2005). Moderator will be Dan W.
Free snacks and sparkling non-alcoholic cider are provided. Should be pretty cool. No music, so bring the 'rents!
