Victory Records thrash-metal act A Perfect Murder have announced plans to enter the studio to cut their third album, titled War of Aggression. This time around, lead guitarist Carl Bouchard, singer Kevin Randel and drummer Yan Chausse will be joined by new members Kyrill Ducharme on guitar and bassist Francois Michel Labrie.

The band has already written 14 songs for the new album, 11 of which will make the final cut on the new CD, which is tentatively set to be released this summer. Songwriter Carl Bouchard describes the new material as

More structured and well-balanced. It'll be a mix between "Strength Through Vengeance" and "Unbroken". Having more experience as a performer has certainly impacted my songwriting, but just growing up as a person has helped create a more mature sound in the band.
