The Asbury Park Press continues it's nearly daily coverage of the January incident which claimed the life of 25-year old Iraq veteran James C. Morrison.

The accused has reported pleaded not guilty, but more previously assumed details have been called into question, most notably, the content of the shirt which ignited the alledged incident. The newspaper admitting that there is little consensus on what actually happened:

There are different versions of what transpired the day Morrison died. His friends and relatives have given their accounts, as have a small group of people posting anonymous messages on dozens of online message boards

Besides that, the shirt which was originally though to be of Southern Rock Band, Lynyrd Skynyrd T-shirt that featured a Confederate flag is alleged to be far more offensive, with some claiming:

Online, people who claim to have knowledge of the event say Morrison's friends' clothing bore overt racist slogans and pictures.

While some have attempted to draw definitive conclusions about the victim due to some books and films mentioned on his myspace page, neither the book Ice Reich nor the the film American History X endorse neo-Nazism in any way.

Since then, the newspaper has attempted to reconstruct the events as well as speculating on the involvement of FSU. The most recent news prior to this was that an arrest had been made.
