River City Rebels announce tour dates, shopping new album

The River City Rebels have announced a tour set to kick off in early May. Along with the announcement, the band posted a very lengthy blog entry addressing their next record. Most importantly:

We got our album back with all the rights. We can shop this masterpiece to any label we want. Which we are doing right now.

Rebels frontman Bopper, also known as Daniel O'Day, recently released a solo record via Springman Records.
