Motion City Soundtrack has announced plans to release the follow up to Commit This To Memory this summer. The record is titled Even If It Kills Me and is due out July 17, 2007.

The band recorded the album at Stratosphere Studios in New York to work with Fountains Of Wayne's Adam Schlesinger and former Girls Against Boys member Eli Janney. They then moved to Electric Lady Studios in New York the first week of March to finish the album with former Cars frontman and renowned music industry legend Ric Ocasek, who has also helped hone such iconic records as The Blue Album by Weezer.

The band also enlisted friends including Max Bemis of Say Anything, Rachel Minton of Zolof the Rock & Roll Destroyer, and Shawn Harris of The Matches for a few feature guest spots.
