Looks like Tim Barry isn't the only member of Avail branching out with a new solo project. Guitarist Joe Banks has also begun recording some solo material, and is drawing inspiration from artists like Lynrd Skynyrd, John Mellencamp Steve Earle.

Joe has posted the first three of his recorded songs on his myspace page and is aiming to have ten songs recorded by the end of this month.

No word on whether the band will be regrouping any time soon to resume work on their delayed full length.
