"According to the winter newsletter on their website, Mexican Ska-Punk bandits, the Voodoo Glow Skulls have parted ways with Mr. Brett and Epitaph Records. Frontman Frank Voodoo adds that the band has decided to take some time off before entering the studios to record new songs for their next release. In the meantime, the band has announced that it will be releasing a Home Video/DVD containing an hour of VGS footage from across the world, with six unreleased songs produced by Mr. Brett himself to be included on the video soundtrack. And as a added bonus, the band will be releasing a CD containing old and new sounds on their own label, Pocho Loco Records."(punkbands.com) My favorite Voodoo Glow Skulls release? None other than that fabulous split with Hickey. It proved to me what a class act VGS is.
