Baroness have posted a new track from the upcoming debut Red Album. You can hear "The Birthing" at their MySpace page.
Red Album was recorded with Phillip Cope of Kylesa at the Jam Room in Columbia, SC and is due out in North America on September 4th and the 10th internationally. While Relapse handles the CD version, the 12" vinyl of Red Album will see its release roughly the same time courtesy of Hyperrealist Records.
The band also has some East Coast tourdates coming up.
