With their long–awaited new album due soon, The Hives are beginning to show up in some unusual places. The band's new song, "Fall Is Just Something Grown Ups Invented" is the featured theme for Cartoon Network's fall season. The song accompanies a new set of promos directed by Shilo.

The new record is titled The Black and White Album and is due out November 13, 2007.
