Newly label–free Shook Ones have updated us with some of their plans for the coming months of 2008.

The band will hit the recording studio the first weekend of April to lay down a few tracks for a split 7" with another group of fresh free agents, End of a Year. Shooks' sessions will be handled by Jackson Long, who recorded the band's half of last year's split with Easel. They're aiming for a late spring release on Malvern, PA's Runner Up Records.

Additionally, the band will write and "hopefully" record their next full–length this approaching summer. No label has yet been announced, with guitarist Kelly Aiken telling Punknews.org it'll "probably" be self–released via his own label, Modern Alchemy. That label recently handled the vinyl release of the aforementioned Easel split.

That same summer, more specifically August, will also see the band head back to Europe with some familiar touring partners.

Shook Ones' latest proper full–length was 2006's Revelation–released Facetious Folly Feat.
