us that our comrades at Punkmusic.com have reported that Chicago's Apocalypse Hoboken have indeed not broken up, contrary to rumors in the past few months. After various factors left their web page unattended or offline for most of last year, drummer Andy recently updated the news section with news about the band playing May 17th or 18th at the Fireside Bowl in Chicago. Also, Andy is compiling a boxed set of unreleased tracks; he has enough songs to fill about 4 CDs (30 songs per CD). He says he will make about 200 sets, and sell them at the May show. If you're interested in the collection, he asks to be emailed here.The future of the band is uncertain. The individual Fireside bowl show given much of importance in the post, "We'll try to play songs from all eras (and maybe even "Brett"). There was surprisingly little debate about where to play this show once everyone agreed to do it." No word has been given on any continued touring or recording.
