Claiming both Boston and New York as their hometowns, Wild Zero have announced a few upcoming shows in support of their new EP II. The band will be supporting Japan's Peelander–Z on March 29th at the Middle East, followed on April 4th by an appearance at the 30th annual WBCN Rock and Roll Rumble. Christopher Rager, former singer/guitarist/songwriter of The Lovekill, has launched Conduct. The band will feature Rager on guitar and vocals along with Andrew Penmer (bass/keyboard/vocals) and Juan Granda (drums/vocals). The band has posted two new songs online at MySpace with a sound described as "70s inspired rhythms and psych–rock melodies with a little mid–west indie." Nashville's Blacklist Royals are working to support the Lance Armstrong Foundation to make preventative cancer treatments for all a priority in the US. The band is helping petition state and federal legislatures. The latest goal is to collect 10,000 signatures supporting the cause by Livestrong Day on May 13th, and hte band is pointing fans to the petition at makecancerpriority.com.
