True Widow (ex–Slowride) has signed to End Sounds 

The label describes the band as "brooding and haunting slowcore in a blend of country, garage, and shoegaze with Dan Phillips' signature morphine drip vocal melodies".  True Widow's debut full–length will be out in Fall 2008 and the band goes into The Echo Lab studio with Matt Pence (Centro–Matic, Ester Drang, Aqueduct) in May.
