A number of you wrote in with the news that documentarian/provocateur Michael Moore has released his new 90 minute documentary, Slacker Uprising for free online.

As you might expect, the film presents a more Democratic-friendly perspective, covering Mike's 62-city tour leading up to the 2004 election. As the title implies, the film focuses primarily on the youth turnout in 2004. Notable figures in the film include Tom Morello who performs, along with Eddie Vedder, R.E.M., Joan Baez, Steve Earle, and Viggo Mortensen.

Since Mr.Moore was also involved with Punk Voter in 2004, it is possible that some footage from that campaign also appear in the film though this editor's copy is still downloading from iTunes so that remains to be seen.
