: I am sure that all you kids are too punk for this, but if you caught the opening film for the Oscars on Sunday you would have seen Jello Biafra (Dead Kennedys) discussing his favorite film. Also included were Dicky Barrett (MM Bosstones), Iggy Pop (Stooges) and Lou Reed (Velvet Underground). Could mainstream America finally be getting some taste in music? Can someone with a TV let me know what this “opening film” was exactly?
