With their latest release, "Cuts from the Crypt," the Misfits have freed themselves from their previous recording contract with Roadrunner. The band is taking matters into their own hands and is launching Misfits Records this year. Further details on this and more coming very soon, but it is known that the new label will debut with a split single (in conjunction with Disk Union) between the Misfits and Japan's new premiere horror punk band Balzac. No release date yet.
