Polar Bear Club are set to begin recording their Bridge 9 Records debut with producer Matt Bayles (Isis, Mastodon, Minus The Bear.) The band is scheduled to enter the studio on April 9th and had this to say:

Recording with Matt Bayles is going to be mind-blowing. We love pretty much everything he's done and we're really looking forward to having him work with us on the record. And furthermore, we can't wait to share with the world what Polar Bear Club and Bridge Nine have to offer.

The band is aiming for a Fall 2009 release. The band's record from 2008, Sometimes Things Just Disappear, was named the seventh best album of 2008 by Punknews.org readers.
