Thrice aiming for fall release

According to a posting on their studio blog, Thrice is aiming for a Fall 2009 release for the follow up to their four EP cycle, The Alchemy Index: Volumes I & II: Fire & Water and The Alchemy Index: Volumes III & IV: Air & Earth. A band member had this to say:

Thanks for the encouragement guys. The reason we are working against a deadline is so we can get this out in the fall and not next year. Getting closer!

On that subject, the band's latest progress update notes:

Same 'ol same 'ol here. More vocals are being sung and it's sounding sweeeeeet.

The record is expected via Vagrant Records.
