Weezer have announced via their official website that their new album will be released on October 27, 2009. Other details (title and track listing, namely) are expected to be announced soon.

When released, the record will be Weezer's seventh and the follow up to 2008's The Red Album. The band recently road-tested three new songs at the Jisan Valley Rock Festival in South Korea.
