The Thermals begin work on next album

According to a Pitchfork report, Portland's Thermals are already planning the release of their upcoming fifth album. The follow up to 2009's Now We Can See is apparently expected September 7th, 2010 via Kill Rock Stars.

In December, the trio will head into Portland's Jackpot Studios with Death Cab for Cutie's Chris Walla producing. The record also marks the recorded debut of drummer Westin Glass..
